Beef adobo recipe from the Philippines. This Filipino style beef adobo is often served with rice. In this recipe, you will learn how to cook beef adobo.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of beef
  • 2-1/4 cups of water
  • 4 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

  • Slice the beef in cubes. Beef adobo is usually sliced in 2×2 inch cubes.
  • Mix all the ingredients in a large saucepan and boil.
  • Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and cook at medium heat for about an hour or until beef is tender.
  • Add water if needed. Add salt if needed.
  • Adjust taste.
